Recommendation for Sylvain Kuenzi Sylvain Kuenzi did a lot of work for us as a contractor. It is clear to us that he has an extensive knowledge of good building practices. In addition to being knowledgeable, he is honest and hardworking. He first did a total renovation of our upstairs bathroom. Then when we discovered we had pyrite, he demolished the bottom two floors of our split level house to prepare for the pyrite removal. Then he totally renovated the new two levels after pyrite removal, which included putting in: • new walls • new flooring • new ceiling beams • new staircase • new slate around the fireplace • a new window where there hadn’t been one before • replaced windows and a patio door • a new full bathroom • redid the ceiling • insulated the garage • added new lighting everywhere with the necessary electrical work • did masonry work on the chimney Sylvain is hardworking and creative. In spite of the complete demolition of the basement he was able to maintain hot water in the house by creatively suspending the hot water heater from the ceiling. His motto was always to do work that was solid and of which he would be proud. Now that he has become a real estate agent, he has the advantage of his background as a contractor – seeing the flaws in a house and knowing what it takes to fix them.
